In preparation for the new academic year CELT have created resources to support academic staff to deliver a session to students helping them to review their confidence in their digital skills.
The workshop is for 1 hour and utilises the Digital Capability Discovery Tool helping students to focus on the development of essential digital skills. The report the tool produces can be used as evidence in a development portfolio and can then be reviewed annually to look at how their skills have developed over time. Delivered during or just after induction, the session is best run in a computer room and helps to get students to plan how they can develop their skills further.
